Role summary
The Restaurant Manager will support the F&B Operations Manager in running the restaurant’s day-to-day activities, guest service, and financial outcomes. The position includes leading staff, keeping service and quality standards high, and making sure guests have a positive experience. It also involves helping with training, roster planning, stock management, and actions that support operational targets.
Key responsibilities
- Handle routine restaurant operations and keep service running efficiently throughout the day.
- Prepare shift plans, confirm adequate staffing, and organize team tasks to support smooth operations.
- Contribute to hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of restaurant employees.
- Assist the F&B Operations Manager in reviewing business performance, including revenue, spending, and profitability.
- Support stock management by tracking inventory, controlling purchasing needs, and reducing waste.
- Follow cash-handling procedures, financial reporting requirements, and budget controls.
- Create and maintain a professional, welcoming atmosphere for guests with consistently strong service levels.
- Interact with guests to resolve questions, concerns, and complaints quickly and courteously.
- Track guest satisfaction and help implement improvements that build loyalty and repeat visits.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a similar discipline is preferred.
- Food safety or restaurant management certification would be an added advantage.
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in restaurant or food and beverage management, with evidence of meeting operational and financial objectives.
- Background in supervising teams, developing staff, overseeing restaurant operations, and delivering excellent guest service.
- Ability to remain on one’s feet for long periods, without visual or hearing limitations.
Additional information
The role is full-time and based onsite in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
