Restaurant Cashier

Primary Duties

Welcoming customers, accurately recording dine-in and takeout orders through the POS system, managing multiple forms of payment including cash, credit, debit, and mobile transactions, and issuing receipts and accurate change. Responsible for counting the cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure sales reconciliation. Providing excellent customer service by addressing menu inquiries, resolving minor complaints, and supporting service or kitchen personnel whenever required.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in basic arithmetic with exceptional attention to detail for handling cash transactions.
• Experience or familiarity with point-of-sale software operations.
• Strong verbal communication skills, maintaining a friendly and courteous manner even under pressure.
• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is preferred.
