About the Role
Our client is seeking a dependable and detail-focused Residential Cleaner to handle various cleaning tasks at residential properties including move-in/out cleans, rental turnovers, and property readiness before showings or inspections. This position suits a professional individual who can work independently and adhere strictly to company cleaning standards and checklists.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning services at residential locations including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and hallways.
- Clean appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers when needed.
- Remove dust, dirt, debris, garbage, and leftover items to ensure a pristine environment.
- Wipe down surfaces, counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and frequently touched areas.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain floors.
- Document work progress with clear before-and-after photos and videos.
- Identify and report issues requiring maintenance, repairs, junk removal, pest control, or further follow-up actions.
- Follow cleaning checklists, appointment instructions, and property access details thoroughly.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with tenants, property owners, and internal teams.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Prior experience in residential cleaning, housekeeping, or similar roles.
- Strong understanding of residential cleaning protocols and standards.
- Must have reliable transportation to reach different property locations.
- Possession of necessary cleaning supplies and equipment for appointments.
- Comfortable operating independently in the field and managing time effectively.
- Use of a smartphone equivalent to iPhone 13 with a high-quality camera to capture property conditions and work done.
- Ability to produce clear written notes and updates after each visit.
- Professionalism, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and checklists accurately.
- Exemplary communication skills to interact with tenants, owners, and colleagues.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with move-in/out or rental turnover cleaning is advantageous.
- Familiarity with property readiness cleaning before inspections or showings.
- Capability to identify property damage, maintenance needs, pest issues, or unsafe conditions.
- Experience working autonomously in field roles for property management or home services companies.
