Reporting Specialist

About the Role

The Reporting Specialist is responsible for creating standardized reports and dashboards that support data-driven decision-making throughout the organization. This role involves ensuring the reliability and uniformity of data while providing insights that assist management and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine standardized reports tailored to organizational needs and stakeholder expectations.
• Select suitable tools and formats to present data effectively and clearly.
• Create user-friendly dashboards and reporting templates.
• Enhance existing reporting frameworks to boost efficiency and decision-making support.
• Design and standardize approaches for gathering qualitative and quantitative data, including forms and templates.
• Align data collection processes with analytical and reporting requirements and train users accordingly.
• Establish and maintain data governance policies collaboratively with stakeholders.
• Set and monitor data baselines, validation rules, and quality checks to assure data integrity.
• Validate and review data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency across reports.
• Aggregate and harmonize dashboard reports across various departments to ensure uniformity and integration.
• Analyze report outcomes to detect trends, identify gaps, and suggest improvements.
• Produce actionable reports and recommendations to enhance systems and processes.
• Provide analytical assistance and advise stakeholders to optimize performance using reporting insights.
• Maintain up-to-date soft and technical skills relevant to the role.
• Execute planned activities aligned with operational and development schedules effectively and efficiently.
• Communicate progress and deviations through detailed periodic reports.
• Address and resolve arising issues promptly, escalating complex operational challenges when necessary.
• Ensure quality standards in all products, processes, and related activities.
• Support business process enhancements by documenting policies and seeking automation opportunities.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the work area to assure legal conformity and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Analysis & Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• 2 to 4 years of professional experience in related roles.
• Competencies in business case development, business processes, requirements definition, systems process reengineering, and systems analysis.
