About the Role

We are looking for a flexible IT Specialist to take charge of and coordinate technology functions for a developing company specializing in smart home solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage IT infrastructure and cybersecurity measures.
• Provide support for both remote and on-site environments.
• Oversee management of software licenses and cloud platforms.
• Deliver technical support and develop IT operational policies.
• Assess new technologies and maintain vendor relationships.
• Ensure proper data backup procedures and disaster recovery plans.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will have over four years of experience in IT support or systems administration, including leadership roles. They must possess solid knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, cloud-based services, Windows OS, Google Workspace, and endpoint management. Excellent communication abilities are essential. Preference is given to those based in Nashville, TN, with willingness to travel occasionally to the office.

Additional desired qualifications include experience in small businesses or startup environments, familiarity with remote monitoring and management tools, relevant certifications such as CompTIA or Microsoft, and project management experience.
