Role Overview
This position as Relationship Manager focuses on managing small enterprise clients with turnovers up to 100 crore and credit ticket sizes ranging between 1 crore to 10 crore. The primary product managed is working capital financing.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue by meeting the bank's objectives related to earnings, assets, liabilities, and credit quality as defined in the agreed budgets and targets across various product lines.
- Initiate and cultivate new client relationships by comprehending their financial requirements and offering tailored banking products and services.
- Oversee client relationships by identifying needs, advising appropriately, structuring deals, preparing terms and conditions, and successfully closing agreements.
- Evaluate client banking needs and associated risks to optimize the risk-return profile for the bank.
- Lead brand communication efforts for assigned bank products and succinctly convey product positioning that distinguishes YES Bank’s offerings in the marketplace.
- Conduct primary and secondary market research to gain insights into consumer behavior, competition, and prevailing market dynamics.
- Perform thorough credit appraisals including analysis of income statements, balance sheets, financial ratios, cash flow, management and industry risks, and macroeconomic factors.
- Ensure compliance by maintaining high standards of documentation, client communication, and process adherence in coordination with product partners, risk management, and other stakeholders.
- Set and regularly review personal performance objectives in collaboration with the reporting manager to ensure attainment of goals.
- Own personal development by identifying skill gaps and pursuing learning opportunities beyond formal training under managerial guidance.
- Demonstrate and enhance required professional competencies relevant to the role.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging techniques, and current financial issues through continuous education and networking.
- Adhere strictly to risk policies and procedures to mitigate various operational, financial, regulatory, reputational, and audit risks as directed by management.
- Implement internal controls and contribute requisite information for periodic departmental audits.
