Role Overview
The London Borough of Hackney's Regeneration and Economic Development Service spearheads strategic projects in key growth areas such as Dalston, Shoreditch/Hoxton, Hackney Central, Hackney Wick, and Woodberry Down. The service is dedicated to inclusive economic growth across the borough, aiming to build exemplary places, create affordable housing, deliver new workspaces, foster town centre revitalization, and support community and business partnerships.
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Regeneration Officer to join this award-winning service. This role involves supporting programme and project management within regeneration initiatives. The successful candidate will quickly build effective relationships within the team to aid development and delivery of regeneration projects and programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development, coordination, and delivery of regeneration projects within the borough.
- Prepare formal progress and performance reports for regeneration initiatives.
- Track project milestones and outcomes to ensure successful delivery aligned with strategic goals.
- Extract lessons learned from projects to enhance future approaches.
- Apply innovative strategies to address challenges and improve community outcomes.
