About the Role
Strategic Staffing Solutions is offering a 12-month contract opportunity (with potential extension) as a Recruiter for a prominent Financial Services client based in McLean, VA or Richmond, VA. This hybrid position requires the candidate to work onsite three days a week and remotely for two days. The role involves partnering directly with business units, particularly contact centers, to source and hire top talent, thereby supporting the success of the Customer Operations Recruiting Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a consultative relationship with hiring managers to strategically source and identify high-quality candidates.
- Efficiently and accurately screen and assess candidates to fill a high volume of non-exempt roles within call centers, ensuring quality hires.
- Coordinate interview scheduling, lead consensus discussions on candidates, and present offers that result in hires.
- Collaborate with cross-functional business units, HR partners, and recruiting teams to mitigate risks and ensure a seamless hiring process.
- Independently manage the full life cycle recruiting process, emphasizing meeting time-to-fill targets.
- Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to maintain a strong pipeline of candidates.
- Exhibit strong client and candidate relationship management skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted recruiting partner to business leaders and hiring managers.
- Navigate ambiguous situations by applying expertise and problem-solving skills effectively.
- Coach candidates and hiring teams through the selection and negotiation phases.
- Lead and facilitate formal consensus meetings with hiring teams.
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and execute requisition processing flawlessly.
- Perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Between 1 to 3 years of experience in full life cycle recruiting, preferably with exposure to high-volume recruitment.
- A background in financial services recruiting, including conducting intake meetings with hiring managers.
- Experience developing and collaborating on recruiting strategies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of influencing effectively.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to deliver results.
Compensation and Terms
The hourly pay rate ranges from $38 to $43 on a W2 basis.
