Role overview
Bank of Georgia’s Retail Banking Department is hiring a Receiver-Appraiser for its Batumi branch. This role is focused on pawnbroking and customer service operations linked to valuables assessment and related financial transactions.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate precious metals and gemstones and prepare the corresponding loan agreement.
- Return pledged items to borrowers when the obligation is settled.
- Handle currency exchange operations and receive money transfers.
- Send notifications to borrowers as needed.
- Support sales growth through appropriate promotional and sales activities.
