About the Role
Winsome Group is seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to oversee quality assurance across all phases of township and residential construction projects. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about ensuring high-quality standards in construction and eager to contribute to the successful delivery of lasting community developments.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise construction operations to verify adherence to approved designs, specifications, and quality benchmarks.
- Perform quality audits for RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, finishing, and other civil engineering tasks.
- Manage quality control activities for construction materials via testing and inspections.
- Organize and monitor concrete cube and slump tests, approve materials, and facilitate third-party quality assessments.
- Detect quality discrepancies, generate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and oversee corrective and preventive actions.
- Keep comprehensive QA/QC documents, inspection reports, and quality records updated.
- Collaborate with architects, consultants, contractors, and project teams to address and resolve quality challenges promptly.
- Engage in pre-handover inspections and ensure completion of snagging items.
- Drive initiatives for continuous enhancement of quality during project execution.
Candidate Profile
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is essential.
- 7 to 8 years of demonstrated experience in QA/QC roles specifically within township or residential construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian Standard (IS) Codes, construction materials, and quality assurance methodologies.
- Practical expertise in RCC, finishing processes, waterproofing techniques, and maintaining quality documentation.
- Skillful in interpreting structural and architectural drawings.
- Excellent analytical skills coupled with strong documentation and coordination capabilities.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools and experience in construction-related reporting.
