Role Overview

We are searching for a skilled and analytical Quality Data Analyst to join our Quality, Risk, and Regulatory Management team. This pivotal position involves transforming intricate healthcare data into actionable insights that enhance patient care quality, operational efficiency, and overall outcomes throughout the organization. You will be responsible for developing reports, dashboards, scorecards, and key performance indicators while collaborating with clinical and operational leaders to facilitate data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and sustain reports, dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and analytical models supporting quality and performance enhancement projects.
  • Perform complex analysis on healthcare data aggregated from various sources, including the Enterprise Data Warehouse and clinical systems.
  • Design and manage SQL tables, views, stored procedures, and sophisticated queries to meet reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Oversee performance metrics, detect trends, and deliver actionable insights to aid leadership in decision-making.
  • Collect and assess benchmarking data from Vizient, public reporting platforms, and industry resources.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives by providing data analysis, statistical reviews, and performance assessments.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, nursing leadership, quality teams, and operational partners to share findings and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain and upgrade databases and reporting tools related to quality, risk, regulatory compliance, and patient safety.
  • Engage in data governance, metadata management, and enterprise data programs.
  • Apply Lean methodologies and performance improvement strategies to optimize processes and results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in analytics, reporting, healthcare data, or business intelligence roles.
  • Proficiency with relational databases and advanced SQL, including developing tables, views, stored procedures, and constructing complex queries.
  • Strong analytical thinking, statistical aptitude, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in building dashboards, scorecards, and data visualization tools.
  • Ability to distill complex datasets into understandable insights for clinical and operational stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication capabilities.
  • Familiarity with healthcare operations, quality metrics, medical terminology, and related data concepts is a plus.
  • Experience using Tableau or similar data analytics software.
  • Certifications such as CPHQ or Lean/Six Sigma are advantageous.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, exempt position.

The salary range for this role is $84,905 to $131,605 annually, varying based on work experience, qualifications, and work location.
