Quality Control Officer

Role Overview

The Quality Control Officer is responsible for conducting daily independent quality control audits on cluster operations, ensuring at least 50% of work performed is checked. This involves both documentation and on-site inspections, particularly for cleaning and horticulture services, with defects reported to supervisors and relevant officers. The officer will prepare detailed audit reports, follow up on corrective and preventive actions, and act as the cluster's representative during external and authority audits. They report regularly to the Quality Assurance auditor and must demonstrate strong attention to detail, independence, and clear communication to uphold service standards and drive continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform independent daily Quality Control audits covering at least half of cluster operations.
• Conduct random sampling audits as specified by Integrated Facilities Management (ITeFM).
• Inspect cleaning and horticultural services, reporting any defects to supervisors and task owners for follow-up.
• Prepare and submit detailed audit reports to Quality Assurance auditors.
• Monitor and ensure timely closure of corrective and preventive actions arising from audit findings.
• Represent the operational cluster during authority and external audits.
• Communicate audit results and QC issues directly to the QA auditor.
• Execute additional tasks as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a diploma in Facilities Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or equivalent qualification.
• Have at least two years of relevant experience in Facilities Management or Quality Management.
• Holding an ISO Internal Auditor certification is preferred.
• A Class 3 driving license is an advantage.
