Position Overview
We are seeking a meticulous Quality Control Inspector / Quality Technician to join our expanding manufacturing team in Lima, NY. This full-time role, operating on a split shift from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, offers competitive wages and the chance to contribute directly to product quality and customer satisfaction.
Compensation and Schedule
- Hourly wage ranging from $21 to $23
- Full-time employment with a stable schedule
- Split shift hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Job Responsibilities
- Carry out inspections during production and on final products to ensure adherence to quality standards
- Validate that products conform to all design and functional specifications prior to shipment
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, tape measures, and Go/No-Go gauges
- Interpret inspection directives, blueprints, specifications, and job traveler documents
- Detect and report any materials or products that do not meet criteria
- Conduct re-inspections to confirm corrective measures have been implemented
- Record inspection data accurately within the quality management system
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to address quality issues
- Maintain thorough documentation and ensure work area cleanliness and safety compliance
- Engage in continuous improvement efforts aimed at enhancing product quality and manufacturing efficiency
Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or GED
- 3 to 5 years experience in manufacturing quality inspection or control
- Familiarity with standard quality procedures and inspection methodologies
- Strong precision and attention to detail with measuring instruments
- Ability to read and convert measurements between English and Metric units
- Basic arithmetic competence, including decimals and fractions
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient organization and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team setting
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and documentation
Physical Requirements
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Frequent standing and walking during shifts
- Occasional reaching above shoulder level and lifting
- Ability to perform repetitive inspection duties consistently and accurately
