Role Overview
As a Quality Assurance Intern, you will contribute significantly to the digitization and enhancement of QA processes. Your responsibilities include converting traditional Excel and paper-based records into digital formats, organizing QA documentation, supporting process validation, and collaborating closely with QA and operations teams to maintain food safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Transform existing QA trackers and records into digital databases and platforms.
- Maintain and organize QA documentation, reports, and compliance files.
- Engage in validating processes and identifying gaps in current QA workflows.
- Assist in standardizing and reframing QA processes, standard operating procedures, and quality management systems.
- Collaborate with QA and operations to ensure compliance with food safety and quality benchmarks.
- Generate reports, dashboards, and presentations using MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Utilize AI tools and technology to enhance documentation, reporting accuracy, and process efficiency.
Candidate Profile
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline.
- Fundamental knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, and quality protocols.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation purposes.
- Interest and aptitude for data management, digitization, documentation, and continuous process improvement.
- Strong analytical abilities coupled with organizational and communicative skills.
- High attention to detail and eagerness to learn in a fast-evolving environment.
- Availability and flexibility to travel as needed for audits and validation of operational processes.
Additional Information
Internship duration is six months. This role is part-time and requires onsite presence in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
