Job description

About the Role

CxOrbi is an all-in-one experience analytics platform, offering session replay, heatmaps, in-app surveys, review analysis, and AI-powered sentiment tools. We support product, design, and research teams by providing insights into user behavior on web and mobile apps. Our platform includes a React-based dashboard and SDKs for web, iOS, Android, and Flutter. Ensuring high product quality is complex but essential, given this broad technical scope. We are looking for an entry-level Quality Assurance Associate with a meticulous eye for detail, eager to own the quality process across these surfaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans and cases for the dashboard and all supported SDKs (web, iOS, Android, Flutter).
  • Conduct thorough regression testing prior to each release and update regression suites to reflect product updates.
  • Check session replay and heatmap accuracy across a range of browsers and devices, ensuring consistent behavior for user actions like clicks and scrolls.
  • Confirm that in-app surveys and feedback forms display and function correctly across varying screen sizes and orientations.
  • Test privacy features to ensure sensitive user information is kept out of recorded sessions.
  • Investigate and document customer-reported bugs with clear steps, expected vs. actual outcomes, logs, and replay links.
  • Log and manage bug reports through resolution, retest fixes, and verify no regressions have been introduced.
  • Validate that dashboards, funnels, and analytics reports reflect accurate data based on known test inputs.
  • Collaborate with engineers on release checklists and provide the final QA approval before releases.
  • Identify usability issues encountered during testing and flag potential product improvements.

Candidate Profile

  • 0–2 years' experience in manual QA or software testing, including internships or academic projects.
  • Immediate availability to join is preferred due to the urgent nature of this opening.
  • Skilled at testing on both desktop browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and real iOS/Android devices.
  • Strong written communicator—able to create actionable bug reports with full clarity and thorough documentation.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and tenacious in uncovering elusive bugs and edge cases.
  • Bonus points for prior exposure to API testing tools (e.g., Postman), browser debugging or proxy tools (like Charles or Proxyman), or automation/testing frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
  • An interest in user experience research or product analytics is a plus.

Perks and Benefits

  • Remote-first, flexible work environment.
  • Genuine ownership of quality—your approval is the final step before each deployment.
  • Direct interactions with founders and a clear pathway to automation or SDET roles as your career grows.
