About the Role
Airswift, a global provider of workforce solutions in the energy, process, and infrastructure sectors, seeks a skilled QC Inspector specializing in Welding to join a major Oil & Gas company's project in Doha, Qatar. As a vital team member, you will leverage your technical expertise and quality control experience within multi-discipline construction environments to ensure compliance and safety standards are upheld.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Materials Engineering or a technical diploma with extensive quality control experience in construction.
- Preferably, candidates have formal quality control training and active membership in recognized chartered or professional institutions.
- Mandatory certifications include CSWIP 3.2 or AWS-SCWI Senior Welding Inspector along with NDT Level-II certification (ASNT, ISO, or equivalent).
- Additional qualifications such as BGAS Grade-2 or NACE Level-2 Painting Inspector certificates are highly desirable.
- Ten years of experience for degree holders or fifteen years for diploma holders in the Oil & Gas sector, with experience in the GCC region considered an advantage.
- Hands-on expertise in welding inspection and testing for storage tanks, piping, and pipelines; experience with the installation of both static and rotating equipment is required.
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and testing techniques relevant to large-scale oil, gas, and petrochemical construction projects.

The role involves managing complex inspection duties, maintaining proactive collaboration with contractors and multidisciplinary teams in a multicultural work environment to ensure quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
