Internship Experience

This paid internship lasts three months and is located in Sydney or Brisbane. Interns will engage with actual business projects within a large, complex organization, contributing to crucial programs like Project Sunrise and enhancing fleet performance through divisions such as Engines, Performance, or Fleet Management. Placement within either Qantas Mainline or QantasLink depends on project availability.

Eligibility and Requirements

• Must be available to start in late November 2026 and commit to full-time work (five days a week) for three months
• Maintain a credit average or higher in your academic performance
• Be in the penultimate year of study in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, HTML5, iOS mobile development, or Matlab are highly valued
• Possess strong analytical and lateral problem-solving abilities
• Be motivated, energetic, and ambitious
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization
• A genuine passion for the airline and aviation sectors
• Must be a permanent resident or citizen of Australia/New Zealand
