Role Overview
This position focuses on keeping hardware shop inventory accurate, available, and well-organized. The executive will manage stock checks, purchase coordination, receiving of goods, and basic inventory records for both the godown and showroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Track stock levels for the hardware store and keep them updated.
- Identify items that are running low or out of stock and prepare purchase plans accordingly.
- Collect quotations or rates from suppliers and place purchase orders after approval from the owner.
- Accept incoming goods and verify both the quantity and quality of the material received.
- Organize products rack-wise and maintain current inventory records.
- Ensure price stickers are placed on products and keep the rate list updated.
- Arrange material movement through porter or rickshaw and coordinate dispatch as needed.
- Maintain a neat and systematic stock setup across the godown and showroom.
- Make basic entries in Excel, Tally, or any inventory software used by the business.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification: 12th pass; graduation is preferred but not compulsory.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in store handling, inventory work, or hardware/retail operations.
- Comfortable using basic computer tools such as Excel and Tally.
- Should be honest, responsible, and disciplined in day-to-day work.
- Prior experience in hardware, building material, sanitary, electrical, or plywood businesses will be an added advantage.

This role is based in Delhi-NCR and is intended for a hands-on operations professional who can coordinate procurement, stock control, and material movement for a hardware business.
