Public & Patient Involvement Programme Coordinator

About the Role

Maynooth University seeks a highly motivated individual to champion and coordinate user involvement in research activities as part of its partnership with the National Patient & Public Involvement (PPI) Ignite Network for 2026-2031. This position, based within the Assisted Living and Learning (ALL) Institute, will serve as the principal contact for PPI initiatives across the University and foster collaboration with external stakeholders, the Research Development Office, and various university research centers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate patient and public involvement efforts in research projects across the University.
• Act as a liaison between the University and the PPI Ignite Network as well as external partners.
• Support the development and coordination of PPI-related activities to enhance research quality and impact.

Requirements

• Strong motivation and communication skills to effectively engage diverse stakeholders.
• Experience or interest in coordinating user and public involvement in academic research.

Terms & Conditions

• Full-time, onsite employment at Maynooth, County Kildare, Ireland.
• Appointment in accordance with public sector pay scales.
• Salary range: €47,387 to €49,954 per annum.
