About the Role
Join Siemens as a Proposal Engineering Intern in Doha, Qatar. Responsibilities
- Support the review of customer inquiries, Requests for Quotations (RFQs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and tender documents.
- Assist in preparing technical offers including drawings, specifications, and relevant documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as engineering, procurement, project and commercial management, and logistics.
- Help create compliance matrices, technical submittals, and proposal materials.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of proposals adhering to deadlines.
- Participate in preparing clarifications and responses after bid submission.
- Organize and document prequalification activities including evaluation and attendance.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and engineering standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong academic record with a keen interest in sales engineering, tendering, and proposal processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and organizational skills.
- Capability to work effectively within teams and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Basic knowledge of costing and commercial principles.
