Property Consultant

About the Role

Join WSP, a leading global professional services company, working on impactful projects across New Zealand. As a Property Consultant based in one of the South Island regional offices—Nelson, Blenheim, Greymouth, Dunedin, or Invercargill—you will engage in various property-related projects throughout Aotearoa. Your activities will include acquisition, disposal, and legalisation assignments with a focus on achieving excellent outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

• Work on valuation, property law, and Central/Local Government property projects.
• Act as a trusted advisor, collaborating with clients and property professionals.
• Contribute to acquisition, disposal, and legalisation processes ensuring quality deliverables.
• Demonstrate commitment to team collaboration within the wider WSP Property group.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and report writing.
• Manage time effectively and organize workload efficiently.
• Apply creative problem-solving skills for innovative solutions.
• Work independently and cooperatively within the regional team.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a relevant qualification in property, legal, or allied disciplines.
• Have preferably at least three years of professional experience in property or legal sectors.
• Familiarity with the Public Works Act, Local Government Act, Reserves Act, or similar legislation is advantageous.
• Confidence in engaging with property owners and diverse property sector professionals.
