Project Manager - Civil Engineering

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with 4 to 10 years of project management expertise on construction sites. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily construction and execution activities, ensuring adherence to approved designs, blueprints, and standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise contracting and execution tasks onsite to guarantee compliance with technical drawings and project timelines.
• Coordinate with technical teams, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to secure resources, materials, and machinery within budget and schedule.
• Prepare and review daily and weekly progress reports, documenting any scope changes and their impact on cost and timelines.
• Implement and enforce occupational health and safety procedures, ensuring alignment with local and international quality standards.
• Address engineering technical issues such as soil, foundations, structures, and finishes, collaborating with the consulting team.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Practical experience of 4–10 years in construction site management and project oversight.
• Strong planning and organizational skills with the capability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with engineering design software as well as management, budgeting, and field monitoring tools.
• Effective communication skills in Arabic; English proficiency may be required based on work environment.
