Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a respected global leader in audio technology based in Hannover, Lower Saxony, Germany. This company designs and engineers microphones and sound solutions utilized worldwide in studios, conference rooms, and live events. As a family-run business, it values trust, collaboration, and investing deeply in its employees. The role is a 12-month limited contract with potential for permanency, covering an internal sabbatical and supporting a managerial capacity reduction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent mid-term projects (spanning 1 to 2 years) primarily involving software engineering with hardware collaboration.
• Ensure projects meet deadlines, stay within budget, and fulfill quality expectations.
• Moderate project discussions, workshops, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Manage stakeholders and maintain effective communication across international teams.
• Develop risk management strategies and address issues promptly.
• Assume ownership swiftly without lengthy onboarding into long-term programs.

Candidate Profile

• Proven extensive experience as a Project Manager, ideally with a technical focus.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management and multi-project coordination.
• Fluency in both German and English, essential for communication.
• Skilled in moderating and facilitating meetings with an emphasis on transparency.
• Background in managing software engineering projects with exposure to hardware teams.

Additional Information

• Work setup includes a hybrid approach with 2 to 3 weeks onsite for onboarding followed by approximately one day per week onsite or 2 to 3 days every alternate week.
• The salary can be up to €115,000 annually, dependent on experience and outside the tariff agreements.
• This is a fixed-term employment contract with no guarantee of permanent placement.
• The position is based onsite in Hannover, Lower Saxony, Germany.
• An internal referral reward scheme offers up to €250 to the referrer and an additional €250 to a charity.
