Role Overview
This role centers on driving strategic transformation initiatives and business improvement projects across the APAC region within BNP Paribas. The position supports complex programs aimed at enhancing process efficiency and organizational performance across various client franchises including Corporate and Institutional Banking, International Financial Services, and multiple country operations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and manage one or multiple streams within large, multifaceted transformation programs focused on APAC or linked to global strategies, affecting diverse business functions and lines.
- Independently oversee business, process, and organizational improvement projects, applying a consulting approach to ensure well-defined and impactful execution.
- Manage project teams, including Transformation Associates, as required.
- Develop effective solutions via detailed analysis, problem solving, process redesign, and target operating model creation and deployment.
- Present comprehensive findings, challenges, recommendations, and project progress to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Enhance client satisfaction by effectively managing relationships and adapting flexibly to evolving project needs.
- Contribute to team growth by providing continuous feedback, sharing best practices, and engaging in cross-team collaboration.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 8 years total work experience with a minimum of 5 years in Business Project Management, Transformation Programs, or Process and Organizational Consulting.
- Minimum 3 years of experience within the banking and financial services sector.
- Proven track record in leading cross-business or cross-function project design and implementation, independently or with minimal oversight.
- Experience in orchestrating Target Operating Model projects covering business improvements, process efficiency, offshoring, or regulatory changes.
- Familiarity with Corporate Banking, Capital Markets, Global Markets, and Securities Services products and processes is preferred.
- Strong organizational, planning, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Able to navigate complex project and organizational environments with transparency, resilience, and courage.
- Capable of handling operational details while formulating succinct summaries for senior leadership.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Committed to delivering business impact and maintaining customer satisfaction through reliable project completion.
- Willingness to travel within APAC countries as required.
