Your contribution will impact billions, shaping the future positively. Currently, we seek three Production Operators for our Smithfield, Sydney location working day and afternoon shifts.

Position Overview

As a Production Operator, you will actively participate in manufacturing products safely and accurately, adhering strictly to production plans and quality guidelines. You will operate diverse equipment across production processes, ensuring excellent standards and contributing to ongoing improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out product manufacturing efficiently, complying with safety and quality protocols.
  • Interpret and follow precise manufacturing instructions, formulas, and material lists.
  • Manage production equipment such as blenders, mixers, batchers, packaging, and heating systems.
  • Load raw inputs into machinery correctly and maintain detailed production documentation.
  • Troubleshoot production challenges and identify in-process quality issues promptly.
  • Prepare finished goods for packaging and dispatch.
  • Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and hygiene within the workspace.
  • Adhere to GMP, HACCP, food safety, environmental, and safety requirements.
  • Engage actively in Lean methodologies and drive continuous process enhancements.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess 1 to 3 years’ experience in food, flavor, ingredient, or chemical manufacturing settings.
  • Exemplify strong attention to detail and process adherence.
  • Demonstrate a collaborative and proactive work approach.
  • Show solid problem-solving capabilities and eagerness to learn.
  • Forklift license or operation experience is advantageous.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift weights up to 25 kilograms.
  • Capability to push or pull weights up to 35 kilograms.

Work Schedule

  • Day Shift starts at 6:00 AM.
  • Afternoon Shift starts at 2:00 PM.
