Job Context and Challenges
The business contends with major builders and contractors who operate their own batching plants, reducing demand for RMC. The RMC market is capital-light, allowing new competitors to enter easily and affect pricing dynamics. Aggregates, a key raw material, are predominantly controlled by an unorganized sector influenced by local mafia, limiting corporate influence.
Current strategic priorities include expanding market presence and lobbying for government tax incentives to promote RMC usage. The long-term goal includes extending RMC penetration into rural markets and securing captive aggregate sources.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and ensure seamless, cost-efficient supply of concrete that achieves high levels of satisfaction for both internal and external customers, leading to strong profitability.
