Role overview

This full-time position is based at Kith’s headquarters in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and requires 100% in-person attendance. The Production Associate will help drive the end-to-end production process for assigned accessories and lifestyle product lines across women’s, men’s, and kids’ categories. The role is responsible for ensuring these products are developed and delivered to Kith’s quality and execution standards.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000.

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor weekly T&As and monthly liability charts, then check and interpret the data to confirm style and material details are accurate.
  • Maintain the Master Apparel sheet using information from the T&A.
  • Prepare buy sheets for production and purchasing coordination.
  • Generate UPC labels and send them to vendors when needed.
  • Record and track all incoming samples, including PPS, TOP, and any additional marketing samples.
  • Notify the design team when PPS samples arrive and make sure reviews and comments happen on schedule.
  • Coordinate with factories to request care label templates.
  • Issue new purchase orders and update style and color codes on existing POs when required.
  • Build cost sheets in the PLM system after confirmation from the Production Manager.
  • Review care label and bulk submissions, approve them where appropriate, and archive bulk submissions for future use.
  • Request, organize, and assess testing reports, escalating any concerns to the Production Manager.
  • Review QC inspection reports with factories and prepare QC documentation and TOPs for approval with the Production Manager.
  • Review, submit, and record invoices.
  • Partner with a production counterpart to place bulk trim orders when necessary so orders can be consolidated across factories on a seasonal or annual basis.
  • Coordinate with the SMU team to ensure contract-based approvals and requirements are completed correctly.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in product development, accessories, apparel, or a related area is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of fabrics, trims, testing standards, logistics, and garment construction.
  • Background in accessories and/or lifestyle product categories is an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP and PLM systems, including data upkeep, tracking, and data entry.
