About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a partner company in Ireland seeking a Product Owner to join their team remotely. This role offers a chance to influence innovative digital products in the dynamic iGaming sector. As a Product Owner, you will bridge the gap between business objectives and development execution by leading product requirements, backlog prioritization, and collaboration across multiple teams including Product, Engineering, QA, and Design. The focus is on agile delivery, user-centric improvements, and maximizing value through every release.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain ownership and continuous refinement of the product backlog with clear and prioritized user stories, requirements, and tasks.
• Convert business goals into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria for the engineering team.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and areas for improvement to ensure seamless product delivery and maximize impact.
• Analyze product challenges and user behavior to provide data-driven recommendations for enhancing user experience.
• Validate requirements and assess trade-offs before development starts.
• Work collaboratively with Product Managers, Engineers, QA, Designers, and business stakeholders to align on priorities and deliverables.
• Support quality assurance by verifying that outcomes meet business needs and product standards.
• Drive ongoing optimization and innovation for continuous product enhancement.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Product Owner or in similar product roles, ideally within the iGaming sector.
• Proficient with Agile methodologies and product delivery frameworks.
• Strong ability to articulate business concepts into clear development requirements and user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Analytical mindset with eagerness to understand user needs and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Excellent communicator skilled at collaboration, challenging assumptions, and influencing stakeholders.
• Proactive approach, taking independent ownership to resolve issues and advance initiatives.
• Experience with product management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Knowledge of product analytics, user behavior analysis, or A/B testing tools (e.g., FullStory, BI dashboards) is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of software development and engineering workflows is beneficial.
• Agile certifications like Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe Product Owner are a plus.
