About Jetstar
Jetstar, known for its affordable fares, has transported over 400 million passengers since its founding in Australia in 2004. With approximately 3,000 weekly flights to nearly 40 destinations across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and the Pacific, Jetstar operates a fleet of more than 80 aircraft including advanced Airbus A320/21 NEO, Airbus A320 family, and Boeing 787-8 models. The team behind these operations is the driving force of Jetstar's success.
Role Overview
Join Jetstar's Commercial Strategy & Systems team based in Melbourne. This role involves leading strategic programs that convert commercial initiatives into realized outcomes. Working within the Commercial Portfolio & Projects team, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to formulate and implement strategic commercial programs aligned with Jetstar's overall commercial objectives and five-year roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic commercial programs that achieve defined business outcomes.
- Develop program roadmaps, detailed business cases, and comprehensive delivery plans.
- Manage budgets, identify and mitigate risks, track dependencies, and oversee governance processes.
- Facilitate stakeholder collaboration and guide decision-making across the organization.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to successfully implement complex initiatives.
- Promote continuous improvement, embrace automation, and foster innovative operational practices.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience managing complex projects or programs within a commercial context.
- Adept at translating strategic goals into actionable delivery plans with measurable results.
- Strong expertise in governance, risk management, and commercial judgment.
- Skilled at building relationships and influencing a broad spectrum of stakeholders.
- Capable of balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution.
- Thrives in dynamic, fast-moving environments and embraces change and new technologies.
- Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging AI tools to enhance planning, delivery, governance, and operational effectiveness.
