Overview
Join Match Bingo to enhance the gaming experience for players within a licensed UK platform backed by recent investment. Collaborate closely with engineering, growth, and data teams to identify opportunities and develop impactful product improvements that boost player engagement and commercial success. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in steering the product's future development.
Key Responsibilities
- Immerse yourself in the product and player journey early on to understand every game and customer touchpoint.
- Analyze game performance and player engagement metrics alongside the Data team to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
- Assess the complete player journey to remove friction points and uncover improvement opportunities.
- Engage with the Games Operations team to grasp game configuration, launch, and management processes.
- Collaborate with the Head of Engineering to establish and maintain a prioritized product improvement roadmap.
- Continuously manage and enhance the roadmap to deliver regular updates that improve gameplay, usability, and engagement.
- Guide new feature and game concept development from idea through launch in partnership with Engineering.
- Ensure alignment of CRM activities and player communications with the overall product experience by working with the Growth team.
- Plan and execute A/B testing to optimize game mechanics and player journeys based on data-driven insights.
- Track key performance indicators such as retention, engagement, and average revenue per user (ARPU), leveraging data to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to guarantee well-informed, prioritized, and effective product decision-making and delivery.
Candidate Profile
You should have a strong enthusiasm for creating enjoyable digital products and a commercial understanding of how product choices influence user behavior and business metrics. Confidence in data-driven decision-making, excellent organizational skills, and effective communication across technical and marketing teams are essential. Experience using AI tools to aid research, planning, and daily problem-solving is valued. A practical, adaptable approach suited to a dynamic, growing business environment is important.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated experience managing digital products from discovery through launch and continuous enhancement.
- Background in consumer-focused products with a focus on engagement, retention, and commercial performance.
- Strong analytical abilities capable of translating data into actionable product insights.
- Experience prioritizing product backlogs and collaborating closely with software engineering teams.
- Skill in composing clear product requirements and user stories.
- Ability to work onsite in Tunbridge Wells up to two days weekly.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in gaming, gambling, or other highly engaged consumer products.
- Interest or knowledge of football or live sports events.
- Familiarity with CRM, lifecycle communications, or product personalisation.
- Track record of launching new products, games, or significant features.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary between £45,000 and £60,000, depending on experience.
- Performance bonus up to 15% annually.
