Role Overview
We are looking for a Product Manager to join our enterprise open banking product team. This individual will collaborate with product, business, and engineering teams to identify and define requirements, drive platform enhancements, and deliver scalable solutions in open banking. This position functions as an individual contributor.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage data to gain insights for defining product or platform requirements that align with our shared product vision.
- Collect and integrate customer experience data and user needs into product specifications.
- Conduct thorough market research, usability studies, and analysis to support data-informed decisions.
- Monitor product profitability and budget adherence.
- Lead agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure effective execution and collaborate with product and technology leadership as needed.
- Partner with content developers, data scientists, product designers, and UX researchers to identify new product opportunities.
- Shape and contribute inputs to the open banking strategy and roadmap at PayPal.
- Own execution of open banking roadmap initiatives, serving as the subject matter expert for both technical and business aspects.
- Collaborate closely with open banking use case teams to understand their requirements and how open banking can add value, using these insights to inform platform-level roadmaps.
- Develop a sound technical comprehension of your initiatives to ensure development aligns with product needs and effectively communicate technical details to varied audiences including leadership and partners.
- Create comprehensive documentation detailing initiative rationale, anticipated benefits, success measures, technical summaries, and stakeholder roles.
- Maintain clear and effective communication, both written and verbal, conveying succinct summaries and detailed explanations of your responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Information
Travel requirement is zero percent. The role adheres to PayPal's balanced hybrid work model, generally including three days in the office with flexibility for the remaining days.
