Overview
The Product Manager for Marketing Projects at Carnival Corporation leads the creation and implementation of go-to-market strategies for key product additions, focusing particularly on exclusive destinations and new ship launches over several years. This role closely collaborates with senior leadership and cross-functional teams across Guest Experience, Operations, and Marketing to transform product development goals into compelling, insight-driven promotions that engage customers throughout their journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed product marketing plans in partnership with Guest Experience and Operations teams, ensuring synergy with brand strategy and communications timelines.
- Coordinate and deliver integrated marketing campaigns for major product initiatives, maintaining unified messaging across all marketing channels from initial awareness to conversion.
- Convert new guest offerings into engaging marketing stories by working with subject matter experts and senior leaders in Operations, Food & Beverage, and Entertainment, creating foundational messaging briefs for creative teams.
- Champion consistent use of Carnival’s unique brand elements across all campaigns, reinforcing brand identity in every communication touchpoint.
- Create regional support marketing plans when ships enter new ports or markets by analyzing the competition and guiding creative agencies to deliver targeted campaigns, including paid media strategies.
- Contribute to budget preparation, review proposals and invoices, and monitor expenses to ensure cost-effective adherence to budget limits.
Required Skills and Experience
- At least 7 years in brand or product marketing, integrated marketing, or advertising with experience in managing large-scale launches and multi-channel campaigns.
- Proven ability to develop go-to-market strategies, communication frameworks, and creatively translate operational data into consumer-facing marketing content.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and agencies through all stages of campaign development, ensuring delivery aligned with timelines, budgets, and brand standards.
- Strong leadership skills to build and maintain partnerships across Marketing, Guest Experience, Operations, and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to manage complex projects, multiple priorities, and fast-paced environments while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Additional Information
- This is an in-office role based in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area with hybrid flexibility allowing remote work on Fridays.
- Minimal travel is expected.
- Work involves indoor and outdoor settings with exposure to varying weather conditions and the need for regular movement throughout facilities.
