Product Designer

About the Role

This contract position invites a skilled Product Designer to craft innovative and user-focused products that align with both customer needs and company goals. The role demands collaboration across diverse teams such as product management, engineering, and marketing to develop digital and hardware product designs that are functional, visually appealing, and intuitive.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user studies to gather insights driving product design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and finalized high-quality design assets.

• Ensure design consistency across multiple platforms and products.
• Optimize user experiences through careful design iteration and validation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance user needs with business objectives.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong background in product design with experience spanning web and mobile platforms.
• Deep understanding of UX/UI principles for transforming complex problems into elegant solutions.
• Proficiency with design software like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD for wireframing and prototyping.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing to inform design improvements.
• Great collaboration skills to work with product managers, developers, and marketing teams.
• Innovative problem-solving skills focused on enhancing user experience.
• Attention to detail ensuring pixel-perfect design and uniform application of design systems.
• Experience with developing or working within established design systems to maintain product consistency.
• Familiarity with agile development environments allowing rapid iteration.
• Excellent communication abilities to articulate design rationale to both design and non-design audiences.
• A degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design or related areas is preferred, with additional certifications in UX/UI or design thinking as a bonus.
