Role Overview

Picture the innovation of past decades redefining how people interact with technology—this role strives to develop software that is timeless, blending meticulous design, fun elements, and broad appeal. Based in San Francisco or New York City, the position requires presence in our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays to foster collaborative creativity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop product concepts that harmonize strategic vision, design quality, agility, and commercial viability.
• Meticulously design new features from initial idea through to exceptional user experience and flawless visual implementation.
• Lead projects alongside engineers to ensure seamless translation of concepts into delivered products.
• Collaborate with Customer Experience, Sales, and Customer Success teams to gather diverse user insights for informed product roadmap prioritization and management.
• Partner with Marketing to craft compelling narratives across user journeys, encompassing web content, product interfaces, support materials, and other communication channels.
• Invent intuitive, practical design patterns and deliberately evolve our design system to support scaling needs.

Qualifications and Skills

• Over five years of comprehensive experience driving projects independently from concept through completion.
• Strong commitment to understanding user needs and advocating for the most effective user-centric solutions.
• Talent for resolving ambiguous conceptual challenges and creating accessible mental models and workflows that enable immediate user value.
• Expertise in designing clear, appealing, and human-centered interfaces.
• Business-minded design approach balancing aesthetics, practicality, efficiency, and bottom-line impact.
• Collaborative mindset with openness to feedback and diverse perspectives, ensuring well-informed decision-making.
• Proficiency in storytelling through both visual and verbal means to unify teams and align strategies.
• Experience working across functions such as project management, engineering, research, data analysis, and peer designers.

Compensation and Commitment

We offer competitive salary packages, equity participation, and comprehensive benefits, tailored by location, role complexity, and the candidate's proficiency. For San Francisco-based roles, the estimated annual base salary ranges from $285,000 to $330,000.
