Product Designer

Overview

A contract Product Designer position is open with a leading AdTech company that provides a SaaS platform. This remote role requires working aligned with New York City Eastern Standard Time hours. The designer will primarily contribute to the Activation team by crafting design strategies that enable customers to manage, refine, and expand their media investments across omnichannel platforms, AI-driven optimizations, and campaign management tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Create new features using Figma such as dashboards, charts, forms, and data visualizations.
• Enhance omnichannel workflows by integrating specialized formats like Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) into seamless user experiences.
• Design optimization patterns including AI-driven interactions that improve campaign performance.
• Convert complex concepts such as frequency and volume capping into intuitive user controls.
• Produce wireframes, interactive prototypes, and designs ready for production on a weekly basis.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers during two-week Agile sprint cycles.
• Present design work to stakeholders, collect feedback, and iterate swiftly.
• Provide weekly updates on progress and planned tasks.

Required Qualifications

• At least three years of professional experience in product design.
• Expertise in using Figma, including managing component libraries, design tokens, primitives, and handling design modes.
• Proven experience designing SaaS products.
• Practical experience working with existing design systems.
• Strong skills in information architecture and visual design principles.
• Ability to work effectively across Product and Engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities to articulate and justify design choices.

Desired Skills

• Background in AdTech, FinTech, or MarTech contexts.
• Experience with automation technologies, conversational UI, or AI-assisted design workflows.
• Designing for high-volume transactional systems, inventory or frequency/pacing control features.
• Familiarity with fundamental web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to support handoffs to engineering teams.

Additional Information

• Compensation: $48 to $52 per hour on a W2 basis.
• Working hours: Approximately 20 hours weekly.
• This is a contract role starting as soon as possible.
