Role Summary

As Pixi intensifies its global expansion, we are strengthening our product development team. We seek a Product and Design Coordinator to assist in product development, design, and production processes. The ideal candidate exhibits strong organizational skills, proactive behavior, adaptability, and effective communication, with a genuine enthusiasm for beauty product creation. The coordinator will facilitate daily coordination and support between cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily coordination of tasks across Product Development & Design teams and ensure alignment with internal stakeholders.
  • Develop, oversee, and monitor timelines and launch calendars for product development and special projects, keeping track of key milestones and potential risks to guarantee timely delivery.
  • Systematically organize and maintain product samples within the production area, managing sampling stock and product libraries.
  • Handle sample requests to support launch preparations, content creation, and team requirements.
  • Assist with packaging artwork reviews, including mock-ups and proofreading for adherence to brand standards and internal guidelines.
  • Provide basic design asset support under the supervision of the Art Director.
  • Coordinate production schedules with vendors, maintaining internal tracking to ensure consistent progress from development through manufacturing.
  • Manage approvals for batch and pre-production phases, ensuring strict quality and brand compliance.
  • Prepare and update product-related documents such as bills of materials, specifications, item masters, trackers, recaps, and performance scorecards.
  • Create reports, presentations, and project summaries for leadership as required.
  • Communicate priorities, status updates, and necessary follow-ups clearly and promptly to internal teams.
  • Fulfill other duties as assigned to meet evolving business requirements.

Candidate Qualifications

  • One to two years of relevant experience in Product Development, Design, Beauty Marketing, or a similar field, preferably within CPG or the beauty sector.
  • A keen interest in cosmetics, makeup, and prevailing beauty industry trends.
  • Basic knowledge of product types, textures, packaging, and consumer behaviors.
  • Passion for aesthetics encompassing color, formula textures, and overall product experience.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, detail focus, and ability to manage changing priorities efficiently.
  • Effective cross-functional communication abilities, capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Capability to accept and provide structured feedback constructively.
  • Competence in visually documenting presentations, product lines, and assets in formats such as PPT and PDF.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and InDesign) is a highly desirable advantage.
  • A positive, proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Availability to work on-site in Central London, Monday through Friday from 9 am to 6 pm.
