Position Overview
Join Walmart Canada as a Produce Stocker and enhance your retail expertise by delivering outstanding customer service aligned with Walmart's core values. This role involves maintaining and organizing the produce section, assisting with product stocking, and supporting sales activities in an engaging retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain proper zoning of the produce department to ensure neat presentation.
- Perform stock rotation and inspect products for expiration or spoilage.
- Verify correct signage and pricing on all merchandise.
- Comply with cold chain management, including thermometer calibration and temperature recording.
- Follow food safety protocols and sanitation standards to uphold quality and hygiene.
- Manage processes for ordering, clearance, pricing adjustments, and labeling accurately.
- Keep the department fully stocked and prepared for daily business operations.
- Adhere strictly to Health and Safety policies throughout all duties.
- Handle merchandise stocking, picking, downstocking as applicable, and apply product protection methods.
- Implement modular setups including flex modulars and adjust shelf caps accordingly.
Compensation
The starting pay rate for this position is $16.45 per hour.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: Candidates must be at least 16 years old.
