About ENPI Group
ENPI Group, a Dubai-based enterprise affiliated with the Saudi Packaging and Printing Company, specializes in packaging and manufacturing. The company is seeking a seasoned Procurement Manager to spearhead procurement functions supporting the flexible-packaging segment throughout the UAE and GCC regions.
Role Overview
The Procurement Manager will oversee comprehensive procurement processes involving raw materials, packaging supplies, consumables, and ancillary services. Expertise in flexible-packaging materials, an extensive supplier network within the GCC, and a background in strategic sourcing, negotiation, cost control, and ensuring uninterrupted supply are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute procurement strategies tailored for flexible-packaging raw materials and production demands.
- Procure various materials such as BOPP, CPP, PET/BOPET, PVC, PE variants (LDPE, LLDPE), polymers, resins, aluminum foil, laminates, inks, adhesives, and solvents.
- Identify and cultivate dependable suppliers across the UAE, GCC, and global markets.
- Conduct negotiations covering pricing, payment terms, contracts, lead times, and supply agreements.
- Track commodity prices and industry trends to pinpoint opportunities for cost reductions.
- Ensure a continuous supply flow while optimizing inventory and managing working capital efficiently.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Planning, Quality, Finance, Supply Chain, and Sales departments.
- Assess supplier performance focusing on quality, costs, timeliness, and service standards.
- Oversee import procurement logistics including shipping documentation and Incoterms compliance.
- Support supplier audits and enforce quality control along with corrective measures where needed.
- Prepare detailed procurement reports, savings analyses, supplier evaluations, and performance metrics.
- Uphold compliance with company policies and legal procurement regulations.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least seven years of procurement experience with significant exposure to flexible packaging, plastic films, or packaging manufacturing sectors.
- Mandatory current experience working in the UAE procurement market.
- Demonstrated procurement and supplier engagement experience within GCC countries.
- Technical proficiency in flexible-packaging raw materials and production necessities.
- Proven strengths in strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, vendor relationship management, and cost optimization.
- Experience in handling both local and international suppliers and managing imports and long-lead time materials.
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical capabilities, negotiation skills, and stakeholder engagement competence.
- Familiarity with ERP platforms, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and procurement-related reporting.
- Qualifications such as CIPS or CPSM are advantageous.
- Excellent command of English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
Mandatory Screening Criteria
- Active procurement experience based in the UAE.
- Proven procurement and supplier network involvement across GCC markets.
- Hands-on experience in flexible packaging or packaging manufacturing procurement.
- In-depth knowledge of flexible-packaging raw materials.
