Job overview
For the position of letter carrier in Erfurt, the role focuses on delivering mail items in a designated area using the tools and support provided. Work is scheduled across five weekdays, with assignments running between Monday and Saturday.
What you’ll do
- Deliver letter mail using the equipment and aids supplied for the route.
- Carry out deliveries on 5 working days per week, within the Monday-to-Saturday schedule.
- Collect and sort letter shipments before distribution.
- Complete deliveries on foot or by bicycle.
What you should bring
- You are able to communicate in German.
- You can ride a bicycle safely in regular road traffic.
- You are comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions and can handle physically active work.
- You are dependable and willing to put in full effort.
What the employer offers
- An hourly wage of €17.92 under the collective agreement, including 50% Christmas bonus.
- An additional 50% Christmas bonus paid in November.
- Vacation pay of up to €332.
- Immediate fixed-term full-time start with 38.5 hours per week.
