Role Overview
Become a vital member of Bedford Borough Council's wider parks team, contributing to the management and upkeep of award-winning parks and open spaces across Bedford. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring that all play areas and their equipment are safe, clean, and meet established safety standards.
Key Duties
This position entails conducting frequent inspections to identify any hazards within the play areas, thoroughly documenting observed issues, and taking prompt corrective measures including minor repairs to help prevent injury and maintain a secure environment.
Objective
The goal is to create and uphold a safe and enjoyable space for children and visitors to the parks.

The closing date for applications is 24th July 2026, with interviews scheduled for 7th August 2026.
