About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Plant Manager to lead our stamping facility located in Saarlouis, Germany. This key leadership position entails full responsibility for the plant's operations, with the goal of achieving excellence in safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance within a challenging automotive sector.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the production plant focusing on safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) targets.
- Lead and implement continuous improvement programs using Lean, Six Sigma, and Operational Excellence methodologies.
- Drive operational effectiveness by maintaining stringent cost control and enhancing productivity levels.
- Develop and align the plant’s strategic direction with overall corporate objectives.
- Establish and promote a culture of high performance, emphasizing employee development, active engagement, and accountability.
- Manage and strengthen customer relationships ensuring superior service and reliable delivery.
- Comply with all health, safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.
Candidate Profile
- Several years’ experience as a Plant Manager or senior operational role, preferably within stamping or metal forming industries.
- Strong leadership capabilities to nurture, motivate, and empower teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, industrial automation, and engineering principles.
- A track record of successfully improving operational metrics and financial outcomes.
- Experience in the automotive sector is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in German and English languages, both verbal and written.
