Role Summary
Manage and oversee the execution of multiple projects by coordinating schedules, liaising with clients, tracking site advancement, ensuring material availability, and supervising cross-functional operations. The objective is to deliver projects within approved timelines through diligent monitoring, proactive problem resolution, and effective follow-ups with all involved parties.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and update project timelines, milestone trackers, and detailed execution plans for several concurrent projects.
- Monitor daily and weekly site progress by maintaining close communication with Site Engineers, ensuring adherence to scheduled plans.
- Collaborate with Design, Production, Procurement, Stores, and Project teams to guarantee timely provision of drawings, materials, workforce, and other necessities.
- Evaluate project status compared to planned schedules; detect delays, risks, and bottlenecks; and facilitate prompt resolution through teamwork.
- Maintain regular client communications about project status, schedule changes, pending requirements, and key milestones while fostering professional relations.
- Organize project review sessions, track action items, and ensure their timely completion.
- Prepare dashboards, PPC MIS, progress reports, delay assessments, recovery strategies, and management documents for periodic evaluations.
- Coordinate material dispatch and communication between plant, logistics, and project sites for seamless execution.
- Help project teams plan resource allocation, track productivity, and meet project deadlines.
- Report critical risks, delays, and resource limitations to management along with proposed corrective measures.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Possess a Degree or Diploma in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.
- At least six years of experience in Project Planning, Coordination, PPC, or Execution within Construction, PEB, EPC, or Industrial projects.
- Familiarity with MS Project, advanced Excel, or equivalent planning software is advantageous.
Technical and Functional Skills
- Expertise in Project Planning and Scheduling.
- Experience with PPC and Project Monitoring techniques.
- Proficient in MS Project and Advanced MS Excel.
- Skillful in creating Project MIS and Dashboard reports.
- Adept in client communication and cross-functional coordination.
- Knowledge of Delay Analysis and Recovery Planning.
