Job description
Primary Purpose
The role involves executing detailed project planning and scheduling, along with monitoring progress and managing time effectively. Additionally, the position requires preparing cost estimates, budgets, cost forecasts, and reports. Responsibilities include generating monthly Value of Work Done (VOWD) reports, handling invoice payments and accruals, and identifying concerns for management attention.
Experience and Skills Required
- Extensive expertise in planning, scheduling, and cost engineering, with experience in preparing schedules and cost estimates at various project phases.
- Strong team collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and work packs effectively, alongside strong analytical skills and familiarity with international standards.
- Competent in computer applications, specifically advanced skills in PRIMAVERA P6, MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an engineering field with at least 10 years of relevant experience in cost engineering and project management, particularly in the oil and gas sector and offshore projects.
