Placement Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a Placement Officer to join our Operations department. The role involves leading a team of Traffic Incharges to manage truck procurement at competitive freight rates, maintaining strong relationships with booking offices, and ensuring smooth coordination with central teams for seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide 5-6 Traffic Incharges to maximize truck procurement efficiency.
• Develop and nurture lasting partnerships with both existing and new booking offices.
• Sustain and engage a robust supply partner network to facilitate effective matchmaking.
• Coordinate closely with central teams to maintain smooth operational workflows.
• Oversee vehicle tracking and promptly address proof of delivery (POD) and payment issues.
• Meet and drive targets related to truck placement, freight values, and profit margins.

Candidate Profile

• Excellent negotiation abilities coupled with effective relationship management skills.
• Strong communication proficiency to coordinate across teams and partners.
• Graduation preferred but not strictly required.

Additional Information

• The position reports directly to a Manager.
• The role requires overseeing 5 to 6 direct reports.
• Work schedule consists of six days per week.
