Role Overview

This position for a Pharmacy Dispenser involves being an integral part of the in-store pharmacy team, assisting pharmacists and healthcare personnel in delivering pharmacy services safely and efficiently. The role requires engagement with patients, dispensing prescriptions, and providing informed healthcare advice.

Key Duties

• Dispense prescriptions safely, including ordering, labelling, endorsing, and collecting prescriptions.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to support pharmacy service delivery.
• Offer medicine-related advice to patients and refer complex queries to the Pharmacist.
• Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safe and legal dispensing.
• Stay updated with store innovations and follow operational guidelines.
• Help patients manage their prescriptions to encourage adherence and minimize waste.
• Utilize emerging in-store technologies to optimize dispensing processes and enhance patient interaction time.

Requirements

• Must hold Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 or equivalent, or have completed the first year of an MPharm degree.
• Valid UK right to work is compulsory; sponsorship for Skilled Worker Visa is not available.
• Previous experience in a community pharmacy setting is advantageous.

The role offers an hourly pay rate starting at £13.92, rising to £16.64 in selected London locations. Additional perks include:

This position is physically based within a UK store location; remote candidates or applicants without appropriate UK qualifications and work authorization will not be considered.
