Role Overview

The Pantry Supervisor plays a key role in managing the pantry's daily functions, ensuring all food items are properly stored, prepared, and served while adhering to strict health and safety protocols. This position involves inventory management, collaboration with the kitchen team, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization within the pantry area.

Primary Responsibilities

Oversee the pantry staff, assigning duties efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor inventory levels, initiate supply orders timely to avoid shortages.
Ensure all practices comply with relevant health and safety regulations consistently.
Keep the pantry area sanitized, orderly, and well maintained.
Support menu planning efforts and assist with food preparation tasks as required.

Team Dynamics

This role reports directly to the Head Chef and requires close coordination with kitchen personnel and fellow supervisors to maintain seamless workflow.

Candidate Profile

Prior experience in food service or managing kitchen operations is essential.
Solid understanding of food safety standards and regulations.

Educational Requirements
