Over-the-Counter Associate

Position Overview

The Over-the-Counter (OTC) Associate plays a vital role in assisting customers by managing their designated department area. This includes ensuring proper product placement and stock rotation, adhering to company policies, and delivering excellent customer service aligned with Walmart's core values and beliefs.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain strict patient confidentiality in accordance with privacy regulations.
• Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to optimize sales and profitability in the OTC department.
• Perform routine stock rotation and monitor products for expiry dates.
• Ensure the department is zoned accurately and maintained according to merchandising standards.
• Follow established procedures for ordering, clearance, price adjustments, and proper labeling/signage.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of unnecessary items or hazards.
• Maintain high standards of pricing accuracy using the Scanning Credibility Program.
• Calibrate equipment essential in the prescription filling process to ensure operational accuracy.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $16.15 per hour.

Minimum Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 16 years of age.
