Organizational Development & Effectiveness Specialist

About the Role

The position is part of the Organization Development & Effectiveness team overseeing learning and development initiatives within the company. The focus is to manage behavioral and leadership training activities for a specified location and ensure training programs align with organizational goals and individual employee development needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver behavioral and soft skills training programs for middle and senior management.
• Oversee all aspects of training program operations from planning through vendor management to evaluating post-training effectiveness.
• Develop quarterly training calendars and ensure execution of workshops to achieve defined learning targets.
• Create supporting learning materials such as manuals, online courses, and videos.
• Coordinate with internal and external subject matter experts to facilitate successful training delivery.
• Collaborate as an internal learning consultant with business leaders to implement interventions addressing specific business challenges.
• Prepare post-training effectiveness analyses including diagnosis, impact assessment, and recommendations.
• Partner with the OD team to connect leadership development programs and independently lead at least one organizational development project.
• Ensure compliance during internal, external, surveillance, and client audits with no deviations.
• Manage the learning and development budget efficiently to optimize resource allocation.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels to ensure training programs meet organizational needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Full-time MBA in HR or certified trainer with undergraduate or postgraduate qualification.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• History of delivering behavioral training sessions effectively.
• Strong verbal communication skills; assertive and clear.
• Skilled in consultation, facilitation, and training delivery.
• Experience in developing training content.
• Basic understanding of assessment methodologies.
• Proficient in stakeholder management and able to build strong internal and external networks.
• Experience in organizational branding and driving learning communications across the organization.
• Competent in process compliance, data management, and analytics.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with organizations similar in scale and nature to Larsen & Toubro Technology Services.
• Facilitation experience not as a freelancer.
• Hands-on experience using Learning Management Systems, preferably SuccessFactors.
• Background in instructional design and content development is desirable.

Locations and Other Information

The role can be based in Bangalore, Mumbai, or Mysuru. The incumbent will contribute to organizational learning strategies and improvements with a focus on compliance and business impact.
