About the role

In this position, you will contribute to the performance of the ARC business from the Bathurst branch, supporting both yard operations and customer service. Working alongside the Branch Manager, you will help ensure customers receive a high standard of service while keeping the branch running safely and efficiently each day.

What you will be doing

• Operate plant and equipment safely to assist with processing and handling reinforcing steel.
• Use forklifts, overhead cranes and similar equipment to pick, pack, load and unload customer orders; training will be provided where needed.
• Deliver professional and approachable service to customers in person and over the phone.
• Accurately enter and manage customer orders, enquiries and bookings in internal systems.
• Work closely with sales, operations and logistics teams so orders are prepared and delivered on schedule.
• Keep the workplace tidy, organised and safety-led while following all branch procedures.
• Be an active team player who helps with daily branch activity and contributes to a positive customer experience.

Working hours

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am to 4:00pm
• Friday: 7:00am to 3:00pm
