Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for an Operator Engineer to enhance our Data Centre Operations. This role involves driving continuous service improvements by pinpointing opportunities to boost production stability, enhance stakeholder experience, and elevate overall service quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and implement improvements within Data Centre Operations to maintain and increase service reliability and quality.
- Discover and develop automation solutions to streamline production workflows and minimize manual tasks.
- Promptly escalate major incidents, coordinate escalation protocols, lead and facilitate investigation sessions, and chair related activities.
- Take ownership of incident resolution, delivering workarounds or permanent fixes as necessary.
- Assist in diagnosing system and network connectivity issues before escalating to higher-level support.
- Monitor production metrics and key performance indicators to ensure service targets are consistently met.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety and regulatory requirements throughout production operations.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned by leadership.
